Peanut Butter And Chocolate Cake Recipe

Ingredients

8 oz granulated sugar

1 oz Cocoa Powder (sweetened drinking cocoa is fine)

8 oz milk

4 oz flour

1 tsp Baking Soda

2 oz butter - softened

1 egg lightly beaten

4 oz chocolate

2 heaping tablepoons smooth peanut butter

pinch of salt

Directions

Heat oven to 180 degrees C

Melt chocolate in a double boiler and set aside to cool

Mix 4oz sugar, cocoa powder and milk until all is dissolved and set aside

Mix flour, baking soda and salt together and set aside

Cream together the remaining 4oz sugar and butter

Add in the egg and mix until texture is creamy and smooth

Add the egg mixture into the flour mixture and set aside

Mix the peanut butter into the cooled melted chocolate until thick and smooth

Combine the chocolate mixture into the flour mixture until smooth

Pour into cake pan

Cook for 35min or until firm and skewer comes out clean.

Let cool, then cover with a light glaze or a cream cheese icing

Two MAJOR issues with the recipe.

1) It doesn't tell you what size pan. Since it says there are six servings, I assumed it was 8x8, but it's 13x9. I doubled it and tried it in a 13x9, and it's overflowing the pan in my oven right now.

2) It doesn't tell you when to put the chocolate milk mixture in.
