Peanut Butter And Chocolate Cake

- 8 oz granulated sugar shopping list
- 1 oz cocoa powder (sweetened drinking cocoa is fine) shopping list
- 8 oz milk shopping list
- 4 oz flour shopping list
- 1 tsp baking soda shopping list
- 2 oz butter - softened shopping list
- 1 egg lightly beaten shopping list
- 4 oz chocolate shopping list
- 2 heaping tablepoons smooth peanut butter shopping list
- pinch of salt shopping list
How to make it
- Heat oven to 180 degrees C
- Melt chocolate in a double boiler and set aside to cool
- Mix 4oz sugar, cocoa powder and milk until all is dissolved and set aside
- Mix flour, baking soda and salt together and set aside
- Cream together the remaining 4oz sugar and butter
- Add in the egg and mix until texture is creamy and smooth
- Add the egg mixture into the flour mixture and set aside
- Mix the peanut butter into the cooled melted chocolate until thick and smooth
- Combine the chocolate mixture into the flour mixture until smooth
- Pour into cake pan
- Cook for 35min or until firm and skewer comes out clean.
- Let cool, then cover with a light glaze or a cream cheese icing
