Ingredients
  • 3 cup Sifted flour
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon Grated lemon rind
  • 2 cups Butter, softened
  • 2 large Egg yolks

Directions
  1. Cream sugar and butter. Beat in eggs, then flour and lemon peel. Knead gently together. Make sure it's consistent.
  2. Chill dough for 3 hours.
  3. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Roll out dough with rolling pin.
  4. Cut into shapes and place on greased cookie sheets.
  5. Bake until tops get very light, light brown, about 8 minutes.
