Soft Peanut Butter Cookies!

Ingredients
  • 1/2 C Butter
  • 1/2 C Peanut Butter
  • 1/2 C Granulated Sugar
  • 1/2 C Brown Sugar
  • 1 Egg
  • 3/4 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1 1/4 C Flour
  • 1 tsp Vanilla
  • Pinch Of Salt

Directions
  1. Cream the butter and Granulated Sugar, add the peanut butter, brown sugar, vanilla and egg, mix
  2. Mix Soda, Flour & Salt together, then add slowly to peanut butter mixture
  3. roll into small balls
  4. Press gently with fork
  5. bake on 375 degrees for 8 -10 minutes - do not over cook!
  6. Allow to cool on cookie sheet for 1 - 2 minutes
  7. Optional - nuts, or chips (chocolate, peanut butter, etc)

I forgot to write to press balls gently with a fork to flatten somewhat.
