Quiche A La Liezel

- 2 onions shopping list
- 1 green pepper shopping list
- 12 mushrooms shopping list
- 12 peppadews (mild) - if you don't get these, a few chillies to taste shopping list
- 200 grams ham (7oz; 0.45 pound) shopping list
- 50 ml (2 heaped tablespoons + 4 teaspoons) chopped fresh parsley, or 30 ml dry (2 heaped tablespoons) shopping list
- salt and pepper shopping list
- 60 ml (1/2 cup) savoury cream cheese shopping list
- 6 eggs shopping list
- 60 ml (1/2 cup) all purpose flour shopping list
- 750 ml (3 cups) cheese, grated shopping list
How to make it
- Chop onions, greenpepper, mushrooms, peppadews and ham.
- Saute in a little bit of oil until onions are soft and ham is cooked if you used raw ham.
- Stir in the parsley, salt and pepper to taste.
- Remove from heat.
- Stir in the cream cheese.
- Stir in the eggs and flour until well mixed.
- Stir in the grated cheese.
- Place in a pie dish, round or square or into muffin pans.
- Bake for 30 to 40 minutes at 150 degrees C (320 deg F) until stiff in the middle.
- Serve with rice or a salad.
