How to make it

  • * preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9 x 13" pan. I try to use metal pans because it makes the brownies taste a little more buttery.
  • 1. Melt margarine in a large pot
  • 2. add sugar and cocoa, and mix with spoon until blended. (no beaters required)
  • 3. add eggs and vanilla, stir mixture until uniform.
  • 4. combine flour, salt and baking powder in a small bowl, and mix.
  • 5. Add four mixture to wet mixture.
  • 6. Pour mixture into pan and bake for 28 minutes.
  • 7. remove from oven, let sit for 5 minutes or so, and IMMEDIATELY pour icing over top. It will be runny and warm, but once it cools and sets, these are AMAZING!
  • ICING--> simply mix together with a whisk. No beater/mixer required.
