How to make it

  • Boil syrup, sugar and cream to soft ball stage. Set aside until lukewarm. Beat until thick. Add nuts and pour into buttered pan and let cool. Makes one pound. Wrap each piece in aluminum foil.

    I tried making this and had to throw the whole thing away it came out so grainy. What a waste of money these ingredients weren't cheap. I followed the directions exactly so I don't know what went wrong but very disappointed.

    Are you sure the recipe calls for 12 cups of cream I think it may be 1/2 cup.
