How to make it

  • Put chile pods in blender. Add water, garlic, oregano, onion & spices.
  • Use puree speed on blender.
  • Blend till mixture resembles liquid.
  • Pour into sauté pan. Cook over medium heat.
  • Add cooked meat.
  • Add 1 can cooked pinto beans if you like.
  • Simmer 20 minutes and eat!

    If you take the chile after it has going through the blender and pass it through a strainer; it will take out the skins from the chile pods and give a much smoother sauce at the end. Enjoy.

    Do you get incredible chili cravings when you leave our Land of Enchantment. I sure do. This sounds very good for a cold, winter night. In fact, it sounds good for a hot, dry summer night. LOL
