Chocolate Coke Cake Old

Old recipe. Delicious chocolate cake made with 1 cup Coke, and iced with a rich icing made with Coke and toasted nuts.
Ingredients
- 2 cups flour shopping list
- 2 cups sugar shopping list
- 2 sticks butter shopping list
- 3 tablespoons cocoa shopping list
- 1 cup Coke shopping list
- 1/2 cup buttermilk shopping list
- 2 eggs, beaten shopping list
- 1 teaspoon soda shopping list
- 1 teaspoon vanilla shopping list
- 1-1/2 cups miniature marshmallows shopping list
- icing shopping list
- 1 stick butter shopping list
- 6 tablespoons Coke shopping list
- 3 tablespoons cocoa shopping list
- 1 box powdered sugar shopping list
- 1 cup toasted pecans, chopped shopping list
How to make it
- In large mixing bowl, combine flour and sugar
- In a saucepan, heat butter, Coke, and cocoa to boiling point
- Pour over flour and sugar
- Combine and mix thoroughly
- Add other ingredients, and mix well
- Pour into a greased and floured 9 X 13 inch pan
- Bake at 350 for 30-35 minutes
- ICING
- Heat butter, Coke, and cocoa to boiling point
- Pour this mixture over powdered sugar
- Mix well
- Add toasted pecans
- Spread on hot cake
