Chicken Liver Pate

- 1 large onion, chopped shopping list
- 1 clove garlic, crushed shopping list
- knob of butter shopping list
- 15ml oil shopping list
- 250g chicken livers (I use 500g and make extra) shopping list
- black pepper shopping list
- salt shopping list
- slice white bread shopping list
- splash brandy shopping list
- 45ml cream (not necessary) shopping list
- lemon slices for garnish shopping list
How to make it
- Sauté onion and garlic in butter and oil for 2mins on full power.
- Add livers, pierce membranes, cover, cook full power 5mins, stir and cook for another 5mins.
- Blend in food processor add bread, brandy, salt, pepper, parsley (dried or fresh) can also add a hard boiled egg for bulk. Blend till smooth. Pour into ramekins, pour a little melted butter over the top and garnish, put in fridge to set.
