Easy to make Tuna Pasta

Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup Olive Oil
  • 10 cloves garlic, minced (or less if you prefer)
  • Any kind of 1/2 kl. Pasta
  • 1/2 kl. ripe tomatoes diced (you can seed the tomatoes if you like)
  • Tomato paste
  • Canned premium tuna
  • Fresh Basil
  • Dried Basil
  • Dried Oregano
  • Sea Salt and Freshly Ground Pepper
  • Parmesan Cheese

Directions
  1. Heat Olive Oil in pan, add garlic and saute for a few seconds
  2. Add tomatoes, tomato paste, dried basil, dried oregano and a pinch of salt, and freshly ground pepper. Simmer for 5-10 minutes uncovered in low heat or until tomatoes are cooked. (Add 1/4 cup water if sauce gets too thick)
  3. Add Tuna, parmesan and chopped fresh basil
  4. Season with salt and pepper to desired taste
  5. Serve on top of cooked pasta

My kind of pasta!!! Very healthy and flavorful. I'd make this with canned tomatoes (lazy me!!!) and hot & spicy tuna for an aded kick. Thanks for reminding me to make this recipe again!
