Croissant French Toast

- 3 eggs shopping list
- 1 and a half cups milk shopping list
- 1 teaspoon vanilla flavoring (use a good one like Watkin's Madagascar) shopping list
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon shopping list
- 8 small croissants split shopping list
- a fourth of a cup of chopped pecans shopping list
- butter shopping list
- your favorite syrup (warmed) shopping list
- powdered sugar and cinnamon (for garnishing) shopping list
How to make it
- Mix the eggs,milk,vanilla and cinnamon in a bowl.
- Melt 3 pats of butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Dip the croissants in the egg mixture, then place in the heated skillet.
- Sprinkle the tops with the pecans immediately.
- Cook on both sides turning as needed until golden and crispy.
- Remove from skillet to serving platter and sprinkle lightly with powdered sugar and cinnamon.
- Serve with warmed syrup.
- I serve this with honeydew melon, strawberries and a glass of OJ.
