- 1 kg boneless chicken, cut into pieces shopping list
- 500 gm onion, sliced shopping list
- 500 gm capsicum, sliced shopping list
- 500 gm tomatoes, sliced shopping list
- 100 gm ginger-garlic paste shopping list
- 175 gm cashew nuts shopping list
- 12 gm red chilli powder shopping list
- 8 gm turmeric powder shopping list
- 8 gm salt shopping list
- 100 ml cream shopping list
- 60 ml oil shopping list
How to make it
- Grind the cashew nuts into a paste.
- Puree the tomatoes in a grinder.
- Heat oil in a saucepan. Add onions and fry till browned. Add capsicum and cook till capsicum is tender.
- Add chicken and cook for five minutes.
- Add ginger-garlic paste, tomato puree, red chilli powder, salt and turmeric powder.
- Cook on a slow fire for 30 minutes.
- Add cashew nut paste. Mix well and simmer for twenty minutes.
- Finally stir in the cream.
