Ingredients

How to make it

  • Cream butter, sugar and egg yolk.
  • Mix in the corn flour and custard powder.
  • Stir in the cake- and selfraising flour aswell as the pulp.
  • Mix well.
  • Put in fridge for half an hour to rest.
  • With a cookie press, press out desired for onto a greased baking tray.
  • Bake at 180 deg C (360 deg F) for 15 -20 minutes until golden brown.
  • Let it cool down completely.
  • FILLING:

  • Melt the chocolate in a double boiler.
  • Stir in some grinadilla pulp.
  • mix well.
  • Place on flat side of cookie and put another cookie on top.
  • Place in fridge to harden.
  • Enjoy!!

    Those look wonderful - I'm wondering if pomegranate seeds would work for this? It's the only fruit available here in the midwest US that I can think of that has a pretty tart edible seed center. I have to give it a try...your pictures look soooooooo good! Thanks liezel!
