3 Minute No Bake Cookies Recipe

Ingredients

2 cups sugar

8 tablespoons (1 stick) butter or margarine

1/2 cup milk

1/3 cup baking cocoa

3 cups Quaker Oats Old Fashioned or Quick

Directions

1. In large saucepan, combine sugar, margarine, milk and cocoa.

Bring to boil over medium heat, stirring frequently. Continue boiling

3 minutes, stirring frequently.

2. Remove from heat. Stir in oats.

Drop by tablespoonfuls onto waxed paper.

Let stand until firm. Store tightly covered.

How could anyone forget those old fashion recipes. I remember those days, and still do make them once in a while. I also like to add marshmallow at the last min before dropping them on waxed paper, and it's pretty good! I also add 1/2 cup peanut butter to my batch along with Oats.

I've been looking for a recipe like this. I used to get these in the cafeteria of an elementary school I went to and loved them. I think I've also had them with peanut butter in them.
