How to make it

  • Trim fat form tripe and cut into 1 inch cubes.
  • Add meat and water to cover and cook over moderate heat for 3 hours
  • Add onions, salt, spices, cilantro and canned hominy
  • Add more water if needed
  • Cook another 2-3 hours
  • Mixture should bubble while cooking and cook as long as possiable.
  • Remove feet...
  • Serve with chopped onions and cilantro and warm tortillas..
  • Now you can use dried corn... but you have to cook it for 5 hours before... canned is good!

    Ok.... cant decide if i want pigs feet or cows feet.....might as well go with the cows feet as I have the stomach in the recipe already.... hahahaha.....Sounds tasty......
