How to make it

  • Combine flour and salt. Cream butter and 1/3 cup of sugar. Add almonds. Blend in sifted dry ingredients. Mix well. Chill overnight.
  • Form crescent shapes. Bake on ungreased cake sheet at 350 for 12 to 15 minutes.

    ohh, Vanilla-Kipferl! yes, they are lovely! one of my favorite cookies - which i make for others. american thumbprint cookies is another favourite.
