Vienese Almond Crescents Recipe

Ingredients
  • 12/3c flour
  • 1/4t salt
  • 1c butter
  • 1/3c sugar
  • 2/3cchopped almonds
  • 3/4c confectioners sugar

Directions
  1. Combine flour and salt. Cream butter and 1/3 cup of sugar. Add almonds. Blend in sifted dry ingredients. Mix well. Chill overnight.
  2. Form crescent shapes. Bake on ungreased cake sheet at 350 for 12 to 15 minutes.

Ohh, Vanilla-Kipferl! yes, they are lovely! one of my favorite cookies - which i make for others. american thumbprint cookies is another favourite.
