UNIQUE CROCK POT FAMILY MEAT LOAF This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Leggett Estate in Arlington, Texas in 1996.

Ingredients
  • 3 pounds ground chuck
  • 3 eggs beaten
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 1-1/2 cups bread crumbs
  • 2 tablespoons instant minced onion
  • 1/3 cup catsup
  • 3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon beef bouillon
  • 1 teaspoon sage
  • 2 tablespoons catsup
  • 2 tablespoons corn syrup

Directions
  1. Thoroughly mix all ingredients except catsup and corn syrup.
  2. Shape into round loaf and place in removable liner.
  3. Combine catsup and corn syrup and spread over the loaf as a glaze.
  4. Cover and cook for 6 hours on low or 3 hours on high.
