DR. PEPPER SPARERIBS IN THE CROCK POT This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Hammond Estate in Mabank, Texas in 1983.

Ingredients
  • 2 pounds country style pork spareribs
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1 cup Dr. Pepper

Directions
  1. Combine ketchup and Dr. Pepper then place ribs in crock pot and pour mixture over ribs.
  2. Cook 2 hours on high then reduce heat and cook 2 hours on low.
  3. Baste occasionally.
