How to make it

  • Cook lasagna according to package directions then drain well.
  • Rinse in cold water then drain again.
  • In medium saucepan cook onion in butter until tender.
  • Stir in cornstarch, parsley, basil, garlic powder and nutmeg.
  • Add milk all at once then cook and stir until thickened and bubbly.
  • Stir in spinach and olives.
  • In medium bowl stir together ricotta and egg.
  • Add mozzarella and half of the parmesan and mix well.
  • Preheat oven to 350.
  • Arrange three of the lasagna pieces in bottom of greased rectangular baking dish.
  • Top with half of the spinach mixture and half the ricotta mixture then repeat layers.
  • Top with remaining parmesan cheese then bake for 40 minutes then allow to stand 10 minutes.
