How to make it

  • Sauce: heat the oil in a large skillet and fry the onion and the pepper for 3 minutes. Stir in the garlic and cook for 1 minute. stir and beef and cook, stirring frequently until all is browned.
  • Add tomatoes and wine, stir well and bring to a boil. simmer, uncovered for 20 minutes or until the sauce is fairly thick. Stir in the parsley and anchovies and adjust the salt and pepper.
  • Cook the pasta in boiling salted water with 1 tbsp olive oil added
  • When almost tender, drain and transfer to a bowl. Stir in the cream and set aside
  • Topping: beat together yogurt and eggs, season with nutmeg salt and pepper. Add parmesan cheese.
  • Spray a 9 x 13 pan with cooking spray. Spoon in half the macaroni and cover with half the meat sauce. Repeat spreading the topping evenly over the dish and sprinkle with extra parmesean cheese.
  • Bake in 375 degree oven for 25 minutes, until the topping is golden brown and bubbling.
