How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 375.
  • Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add egg and mix.
  • Stir together flour and salt.
  • Mix into creamed mixture.
  • Mix in rosewater.
  • Divide in half and into each half mix in red food coloring in one and green in the other.
  • Roll out dough to 1/8 inch thickness on a floured cutting board.
  • Cut out cookies.
  • Place on ungreased baking sheet.
  • Bake for 6 -8 minutes.
  • Decorate.
