Ingredients
  • 1/2 lb ground sausage
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1- 14 oz can sauerkraut, drained and snipped
  • 1- 3 oz pkg cream cheese
  • 2 tsp parsley
  • 2 Tbsp bread crumbs
  • 1 tsp mustard
  • 1/4 tsp pepper
  • 1/c cup flour
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 cup additional bread crumbs

Directions
  1. In skillet brown sausage and onion, drain.
  2. Add sauerkraut and 2 Tbsp bread crumbs.
  3. Combine cream cheese, parsley, mustard, and pepper - stir into sauerkraut mixture.
  4. Refrigerate until set.
  5. Shape into 1-inch balls and coat with flour.
  6. Mix milk and eggs.
  7. Dredge balls in milk and eggs then coat with bread crumbs.
  8. Deep fry until golden brown.

These sound delicious, my problem is I am the only one in the family who likes sauerkraut, but I guess that means more for me! Great post thanks.
