Easy Christmas Poke Cake Recipe
Really easy and fun cake to make, the finished dessert is quite pretty to and festive. You can always change the flavors and color of the jellos for birthdays etc.

Ingredients
  • 1 pkg super moist cake mix
  • 1 {3oz} Raspberry or Cherry Jello
  • 1 {3oz} Lime Jello
  • 2 c boiling water
  • 1 {8oz} container Cool Whip

Directions
  1. Prepare cake mix as directed on package.
  2. Bake in 9 by 13 inch cake pan as per baking directions on package. With a meat fork or the handle end of a wooden spoon, poke holes along the top of the cooled cake.
  3. Mix the gelatin separately with only 1 cup of boiling water for each package.
  4. Spoon the Jello along the holes in random order to create a rainbow
  5. effect.
  6. Refrigerate cake for several hours and ice with the cool-whip.

One of my old standbys for celebrations, thanx for posting! Note another pretty way to do it is to bake it in two small pans and poke each with a different flavour of jello, then layer them with whipped cream ... delish!! :-)
