How to make it
- Prepare cake mix as directed on package.
- Bake in 9 by 13 inch cake pan as per baking directions on package. With a meat fork or the handle end of a wooden spoon, poke holes along the top of the cooled cake.
- Mix the gelatin separately with only 1 cup of boiling water for each package.
- Spoon the Jello along the holes in random order to create a rainbow
- Refrigerate cake for several hours and ice with the cool-whip.
