Ingredients
  • Vegetable spray for pan
  • Flour for dusting pan
  • 1 bar (4 oz) German chocolate
  • 1 pkg plain yellow cake mix
  • 1 pkg vanilla instant pudding
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 4 large eggs
  • 16 oz semisweet chocolate chips

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 325F
  2. Lightly mist 10 inch tube pan (or Bundt pan) with spray and then dust with flour
  3. Coarsely chop the german chocolate (original recipe says to grate the chocolate, but I prefer the look of the chopped)
  4. Place cake mix, pudding mix, milk, oil and eggs in a large mixing bowl
  5. Blend with mixer on low for 1 minute.
  6. Fold in german chocolate
  7. Increase mixer speed to medium and beat 2 minutes more.
  8. Fold in the chocolate chips
  9. Pour batter into pan
  10. Bake cake until golden brown, 58-60 minutes
  11. Cool on wire rack for 20 minutes
