GOOEY MOZZARELLA-GARLIC BREAD

A nice change from garlic bread. Serve with a salad or hot bowl of soup.
Ingredients
- 1 loaf Italian or French bread, halved crosswise shopping list
- 1 to 2 tablespoons olive oil shopping list
- 1 1/2 teaspoons garlic powder shopping list
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella (regular or part-skim) shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
- Brush olive oil all over bottom half of bread. Sprinkle garlic over oil. Top with cheese and close bread, as if making a sandwich.
- Wrap bread in foil and bake 10 to 15 minutes, until cheese melts.
