Spinach And Bacon Recipe

A family favorite and to mix it up I sometimes put some sliced mushrooms in.

Ingredients
- 2 pounds spinach, washed, cleaned
- 8 slices bacon, cut in halves
- 2 tablespoons butter
- ½ teaspoon pepper
Directions
- Boil spinach in salted water for about 15 minutes and drain off water
- Put butter and bacon in a frying pan
- When bacon begins to get crisp, add the spinach and seasonings
- Mix with a fork and let cook for about 2 minutes
