Ingredients
  • 1 pound Jimmy Dean pork sausage
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 28-oz cans bold-and-spicy baked beans
  • 1 15-oz can black beans, drained
  • 1 (15-ounce) can kidney beans, drained
  • 3 cups barbecue sauce
  • 1/2 cup firmly packed dark brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup yellow mustard
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground red pepper
  • 2 or 3 dashes Tabasco sauce (or to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)

Directions
  1. Brown pork sausage.
  2. Drain, reserving 2 teaspoons drippings
  3. Combine sausage, drippings and remaining ingredients in a baking dish.
  4. Bake at 350° for 35-45 minutes or until thickened and bubbly
