How to make it

  • Grease 2 large baking sheets then set aside.
  • In a large saucepan combine water and shortening then bring to boiling.
  • Add flour all at once stirring vigorously.
  • Cook and stir until mixture forms a ball then remove from heat and cool 10 minutes.
  • Add eggs 1 at a time beating well with a wooden spoon after each addition.
  • Stir in pepperoni, cheese, parsley, garlic powder and pepper.
  • Drop dough by rounded teaspoons 2 inches apart onto prepared baking sheets.
  • Bake at 450 for 17 minutes.
  • Transfer to a wire rack.
  • Serve warm.

    Sounds like a savory Choux Pastry. Do they come out hollow? I'll check it out, if so, maybe fill with some mozz cheese then melt. That could really be gooood!
