Great Danes Peanut Butter Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe

	Dancegypsy67 / All my dishes 1 year, 4 months ago I got this recipe from one of my favorite Madison restaurants - the cookie part of an ice cream cookie sandwich. Ingredients

1 1/2 cups old-fashioned oatmeal

2 cups all-purpose flour

1 tsp baking powder

1 tsp baking soda

1 tsp salt

1 cup butter

1 cup sugar

1 cup brown sugar

1 Tbsp vanilla

3/4 cup peanut butter

2 large eggs

12 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips

8 oz semi-sweet grated chocolate

Directions

Pulse 1 cup of the oatmeal in a food processor until fine. Stir remaining dry ingredients together.

Beat butter and sugar until fluffy. Add vanilla and peanut butter. Add eggs one at a time. Gradually add flour mixture. Add all chocolate and stir until just mixed. Chill at least 2 hours.

Bake at 325 degrees for 10-15 minutes, depending on size of cookie.

Perfect for ice cream sandwiches!

The cookies turned out awesome I just had to cook them a little extra! My husband is a huge fan of peanut butter and chocolate and I brought these to church and they all went fast! It seems like a lot of chocolate at first but the batter is so think that when they're done they work out well, also I wouldn't have thought about grating some of the chocolate chips and I think this added a lot to the cookie!
