Ingredients

How to make it

  • In a skillet, cook the sausage, onion, and green pepper until the sausage is lightly browned; drain.
  • Add tomatoes, broth, brown sugar, garlic powder, and pepper.
  • Drain Pineapple, reserving juice.
  • Stir pineapple into sausage mixture. Bring to a boil uncovered for 5 minutes.
  • Combine cornstarch and reserved juice until smooth; gradually add to sausage mixture. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened. Serve over rice.
  • ENJOY!!!

    I will try it tonight, husband is a hunter. We have way to much sausage in the freezer, we are trying new receipes to change things up.

    i did this earlier with chicken sausage. it was definitely yummy. your picture shows not much sauce so i might have put in a lot on mine.hehehe
    still delicious.

    I made this about a week ago and I loved it. The only thing I did different was I used crushed pineapple because I'm not a real huge fan of the chunks with my meat. It's just a cute little quirk that I have but thanks again for the post.
