Coffee Liqueur

- 1 jar (2 ounces) instant coffee shopping list
- 4 cups of sugar shopping list
- 2 cups of boiling water shopping list
- 1 pint of brandy shopping list
- 1 real vanilla bean shopping list
How to make it
- Stir coffee and sugar in a medium bowl.
- Add boiling water and stir well to melt the sugar.
- Cool to room temperature and stir in the brandy.
- Cut vanilla bean in two inch pieces.
- Drop in a large jar and pour cooled coffee/brandy mixture over the vanilla bean pieces.
- Cover tightly and store in a dark cool place for at least 15 days or longer.
- Turn or shake the jar once a week.
- Will keep at room temperature for 3 months.
- Refrigerate for longer storage.
- Makes about 6 cups.
