How to make it

  • preheat over to 350
  • spray 3 eight inch pie pans and flour
  • combine cake mix, oil, water, eggs and small pkg of pudding mix using an elecrtic mixer
  • mix for at least 5 min. batter will be smooth and thick.Fold in mandarin oranges including liquid. Make sure liquid is mixed well into the batter
  • Pour batter evenly into prepared cake pans
  • bake for 22-25 min or til cake tests done
  • let cool
  • fold whipped toppingwith crushed pineapple to prepare frosting.
  • stir in large pkg of pudding mix. Add reserved liquid if needed
  • refrigerate forsting for 15 min
  • spread between and over top and sides of cake layers
  • keep refrigerated
