Ceylon Bread

- All pupose flour or white flour ( maida ) 9 tbsp for making 6 . shopping list
- baking soda 1/2 tsp shopping list
- Freshly grated coconut 3 tbsp shopping list
- butter or olive margarine 2 tbsp shopping list
- olive oil 2 tbsp shopping list
- water shopping list
- salt to taste shopping list
How to make it
- Whisk the flour , soda and the salt .
- Mix the coconut .
- den mix the margarine well .
- add water bit by bit until a ball forms . add the oil to avoid stickiness .
- cover and set aside for 30 mins .
- divide into 6 balls .
- roll each into flat shape .
- cook on a shallow pan .
- Make sure it's completely cooked on one side before you flip it over .
- Serve with hot chutney or gravy .
