How to make it

  • Fire up smoker with apple wood if you can get your hands on it
  • Score ham in X pattern all over - only score about 1/4-inch deep
  • Place ham in foil pan
  • Pour half of the Coke over ham
  • Cover and marinate in fridge overnight
  • While marinating turn and baste ham every coulpe of hours
  • Place ham directly on smoker or in covered grill
  • Cook with medium heat (about 250 degrees)
  • Baste often with remaining Coke and cook until ham reaches 190 degrees

    If you have an injector, try injecting the coke in the ham, makes it so good

    I also cook ham like this. It's also good when you pour a 40 oz. beer over it too!
