5 Minute Cream Corn Soup Recipe
This is so easy and quick. Hubby LOVES this for some reason and so do people I make it for. I dont like corn much but it is good. I primarily make this for people with colds the ginger and broth is very soothing and helpful.

Ingredients
  • 4 cups chicken or vegetable stock
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cans cream corn soup
  • 2 chopped green onions
  • 1 tsp cornstarch with 4 tsp's water(slurry)
  • a few drops sesame oil
  • 2-4 slices ginger(optional)

Directions
  1. bring broth to boil
  2. Stir in soy sauce and salt and pepper
  3. Add corn. Bring to reboil.
  4. Give the slurry a quick restir and add to soup stirring quickly to thicken.
  5. Stir in green onion.
  6. Add ginger if desired.
  7. Finish with drops of sesame oil.
  8. Serve!

Looks good,brings back memories for me of my first love(I was 13 he was 14). His Mum made the best corn soup. Wow,after a day of tobogganing and skiing it is just what two lovebirds needed.
I will try it for sure.
