How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 350F. Place cake mix in a bowl and cut in butter until crumbly. Press 2-1/2 cups into a greased 13" x 9" baking pan.
  • Bake for 10 minutes; immediately sprinkle with chocolate chips.
  • Drop frosting by tablespoonfuls over the chips.
  • Stir milk into the remaining cake mix/butter mixture. Drop by teaspoonfuls over the top.
  • Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until bubbly arond the edges and top is cracked. Cool (while still in pan) on a wire rack. Refrigerate 4 hours before cutting.
  • Makes 4 dozen bars.
