German Chocolate Bars

- 1 pkg (18-1/4 oz) German chocolate cake mix shopping list
- 2/3 cup cold butter shopping list
- 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips shopping list
- 1 can (15 oz) coconut pecan frosting shopping list
- 1/4 cup milk shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350F. Place cake mix in a bowl and cut in butter until crumbly. Press 2-1/2 cups into a greased 13" x 9" baking pan.
- Bake for 10 minutes; immediately sprinkle with chocolate chips.
- Drop frosting by tablespoonfuls over the chips.
- Stir milk into the remaining cake mix/butter mixture. Drop by teaspoonfuls over the top.
- Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until bubbly arond the edges and top is cracked. Cool (while still in pan) on a wire rack. Refrigerate 4 hours before cutting.
- Makes 4 dozen bars.
