This caramel popcorn recipe isn't the sticky, gooey stuff you're thinking of. Each kernel gets coated individually and is light and dry and perfectly sweet. You cannot stop eating this. Go on...try....I dare you...

Ingredients
  • 3 bags microwave popcorn
  • 2 c. brown sugar
  • 1 c. butter
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. baking soda

Directions
  1. on the stove combine:
  2. 2 c. brown sugar
  3. 1 c. butter
  4. 1 tsp. salt
  5. boil. remove from heat and add:
  6. 1 tsp. vanilla
  7. 1 tsp. baking soda
  8. Pour over popcorn (3 bags microwave popcorn--kettle corn works well). Bake @ 200 for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.
