when inviting friends for the classical italian meal, i serve these either as a course to itself, or to accompany the main meat or fish dish. i try to keep with the red-white-and green of the italian flag.

You know, someone should tell Shirley to head to her closest farmer's market, or to buy the organic tomatoes that are still on the stems (at a health food market, or even a bigger chain grocery store).
