Crispy Corn Meal Waffles Recipe

	Peetabear / All my dishes 1 year, 10 months ago when you want something different that your regular pancakes and waffles these make a nice change.. I've never tried this but I think adding some blueberries to these might be good. recipe is from an old Better Homes Bread Book Prep:15m Cook:5m Servings:4	Peetabear

Ingredients

1 cup flour

2 teasp. baking powder

1 teasp. baking soda

1 teasp. sugar

1/2 teasp. salt

1 cup yellow corn meal

2 beaten eggs

2 cups buttermilk

1/4 cup vegetable oil

Directions

mix flour, baking powder, baking soda, sugar, salt and cornmeal

mix in eggs, buttermilk and vegetable oil all at once

mix only until dry ingredients are moistened.

put approx 1/4 - 1/2 cup in preheated waffle iron
