Easiest Ever Hashbrowns
From batista_baron 16 years agoIngredients
- 1 potato shopping list
- 1/4-1/2 tsp salt shopping list
- pepper to desired taste shopping list
- olive oil for frying (about 1 T;depending on size of potato) shopping list
How to make it
- Heat olive oil in a medium frying pan.
- Grate the potato as you would cheese using the large grated holes.
- Mix the salt and pepper with the potato.
- Sprinkle grated potato together in the hot oil to form a circle about 1/2 inch thick. Slightly press down with spatula until flat.
- Carefully loosen edges with spatula. When it feels like it is holding together and bottom is golden-brown, flip it. (this may be a couple of minutes, but keep a close eye as it could burn fast)
- When other side is golden-brown, remove from heat.
- Enjoy!
