Ingredients
  • 1 bunch Swiss Chard
  • 1 bunch Red Chard
  • 1/2 c baking soda
  • 1/4 c salt
  • 2 T butter
  • 1 bunch scallions, chopped
  • 1 med onion, chopped
  • ½ of a clove of garlic, pressed
  • 2 T worchestershire sauce
  • 1 T sugar

Directions
  1. Remove the big stems from the chard.
  2. Chop and wash chard in baking soda and salt water; rinse and drain.
  3. Saute scallions, onions and garlic in butter until the onion is translucent.
  4. Add Chard to scallion mixture; cover and cook with low heat until tender.
  5. Do not add water.
  6. Add worchestershire sauce and sugar.
