Lazy Cabbage Rolls

- 1 jar bicks wine saurkraut shopping list
- 1/2 of the same jar of long grain white rice. shopping list
- 1 lb bacon - cut it into small pieces and fry ahead of time to get rid of the grease shopping list
- 1 medium onion shopping list
- salt and pepper shopping list
How to make it
- Cut up the bacon and fry it in a pan, saute the onions in the same fryingpan when the bacon is close to being done,drain the fat off.
- Drain the Bicks saurkraut while in the jar and rince it twice by filling the jar that it came in with water and dumping.
- Dump the Saurkraut from the jar into a large casserole dish.
- Add the bacon and onions to the casserole dish.
- Add 1/2 jar of long grain white rice to the dish.
- Add 1 jar of water to the dish.
- Add the salt and pepper to taste. Stir it up and put the lid on and cook at 350 degrees, check at the 1/2 hour mark and add water if needed.
- Serve this with sausage and beer and everybody will be your friend for life.
