Tongue a la King

- 1 6 oz can Tongue, cubed shopping list
- 1 1/4 cup milk shopping list
- 1 4 oz can sliced mushrooms shopping list
- 3 tbsp butter shopping list
- 1/4 cup chopped green pepper shopping list
- 3 tbsp flour shopping list
How to make it
- soak tongue in milk for 20 minutes.
- Drain mushrooms-reserve liquid.
- Melt butter in large skillet; saute mushrooms and pepper for 5 minutes.
- Blen in flour
- add mushroom liquor and milk which the tongue was soaked in.
- cook until mixture thickens, stirring constantly.
- Add tongue; heat thoroughly.
- Serve on toast.
