Scalloped Corn Recipe

Ingredients
  • 1 15 oz can if whole kernel corn.
  • 1 15 oz can cream style corn
  • 1 8 oz container sour cream
  • 1 box corn bread mix(I use Jiffy)
  • 1/2 cup butter melted
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion

Directions
  1. Mix all ingredients
  2. pour in casserole dish deep enough for cornbread to rise.
  3. Bake at 375 for 30 minutes

I don't know why but we've always called this Kentucky Spoonbread. Whatever it is, I can attest that this is oh so good! Oh I see now that you use onion and don't use an egg, otherwise, exactly alike. I may have to try the addition of onion, which I love. Thanks for sharing! Peg
