Garlic and Rosemary Shrimp

- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined (leave tails on if desired) shopping list
- 2 TB butter shopping list
- 1/4 c. olive oil shopping list
- 1 large bulb of garlic shopping list
- 1/2 c. dry white wine shopping list
- 2 TB white wine vinegar shopping list
- 1 TB lemon juice shopping list
- 3 dried red chili peppers shopping list
- 3 bay leaves shopping list
- 1 tsp. salt shopping list
- 2 TB chopped fresh rosemary shopping list
- 1 tsp. dried oregano shopping list
- 1/2 tsp crushed dried red pepper shopping list
- Garnish: lemon slices and fresh rosemary springs shopping list
How to make it
- Melt butter with oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Gut garlic in half crosswise; separate and peel cloves. Add to butter mixture; saute 2 minutes.
- Stir in wine and next 8 ingredients; cook, stirring constantly, 1 minute or until thoroughly heated.
- Add shrimp; cook 5 minutes or just until the shrimp turn pink.
- Remove bay leaves and serve over favorite pasta. Garnish with lemon slices and fresh rosemary sprigs.

I've been on a shrimp and pasta kick lately, This is perfect. I love the combination of flavors with the garlic (can never have enough, rosemary and pasta. I think I'd like to throw in a pinch of cayenne as well, just to turn it up a notch. Great pos...more
