Grandmamas Lasagna

- 1 lb. ground chuck shopping list
- 1 clove garlic, minced shopping list
- 1 tbs. basil shopping list
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt shopping list
- 1 tsp. oregano shopping list
- 1 Medium onion, chopped shopping list
- 1 (1 lb.) Can of tomatoes shopping list
- 2 (6 oz.) Cans tomato paste shopping list
- 10 oz. Lasagne noodles shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
- 3 Cups cottage cheese shopping list
- 1/2 cup parmesan cheese shopping list
- 2 Tbs. parsley flakes shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. pepper shopping list
- 1 lb. Mozzerella cheese shopping list
How to make it
- Brown meat; drain.
- Add garlic, basil, salt, oregano, onion, tomatoes, and tomato paste to meat.
- Simmer uncovered for 30 minutes; stir occassionally.
- Cook, rinse, and drain noodles.
- Beat eggs.
- Mix eggs, cottage cheese, parmesan cheese, parsley flakes, pepper.
- Layer 1/2 noodles in a 13 X 8 x 2.
- Spread 1/2 of the cottage cheese mixture over the noodles.
- Add 1/2 of the mozzerella cheese.
- Add 1/2 of the meat sauce.
- Repeat.
- Bake at 375 for 30 minutes.
- (If prepared ahead and refrigerated, bake for 45 minutes.)
- Let stand for 10 minutes before serving.
