- Crust shopping list
- 1 stick (1/2 cup) butter shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups finely crushed chocolate graham cracker crumbs (from about 12 whole crackers ground in a food processor or crushed in a ziptop bag) shopping list
- 1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk (not evaporated milk) shopping list
- 6 oz bittersweet chocolate, chopped shopping list
- 1 1/3 cups sweetened flaked coconut shopping list
- 1 cup natural almonds, toasted, cooled and chopped shopping list
How to make it
- Heat oven to 350. Line a 13 x 9-in baking pan with nonstick foil, letting foil extend 2 in. above pan at both ends
- Crust: Put butter in lined pan; put in oven 3 minutes or until melted. Add crumbs; toss until well mixed. Press firmly over bottom of lined pan.
- Pour condensed milk evenly over crust. Sprinkle with remaining ingredients. Press down gently.
- Bake 25 to 30 minutes until edges are lightly browned. Cool completely in pan on a wire rack.
- Lift foil by ends to cutting board. Make 6 crosswise and 4 lengthwise cutes to make 24 bars.
