Brownies From The Back Of A Hershey Can

When I was first learning to bake, I was allowed to make these brownies myself. The recipe was on the back of the Hershey Cocoa tin. They may still publish it there but I wrote it down in case they stopped doing that.
Ingredients
- 5 Tbl shortening shopping list
- 1/3 C cocoa shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
- 1C of sugar shopping list
- 1 tsp vanilla shopping list
- 1/2 C flour shopping list
- 1/4 tsp salt shopping list
- 1/2 tsp baking powder shopping list
- 1/4 C chopped nuts, optional shopping list
How to make it
- Melt shortening and stir in cocoa, blend well
- Beat eggs, sugar and vanilla together
- Beat into chocolate mixture, mixing well
- Stir in dry ingredients
- Stir in optional nuts
- Place in prepared 8' square pan
- Bake at 350F for about 30 minutes
