Grannys Barbeque Sauce

This is my Granny's basic barbeque sauce recipe. Everyone who uses it modifies it to some degree. It's a family favorite! My family would rather have this than any from the store.
Ingredients
- 1 stick butter shopping list
- 32 oz. ketchup shopping list
- 1 clove garlic shopping list
- 1 cup vinegar shopping list
- 1 cup sugar shopping list
- 2 teaspoons liquid smoke shopping list
- 2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon ground clove shopping list
- 2 dashes Tabasco sauce shopping list
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper shopping list
- Not Granny's BBQ sauce: shopping list
- Optional: Add 1 chopped Chipotle pepper in adobo sauce--extra spicy! shopping list
How to make it
- Mix together in pan.
- Simmer 1 hour.
