Oven Baked Bone In Pork Chops Recipe

How to make it

  • Let chops come to room temperature for 20-30 minutes.
  • Rinse off chops with cold water.
  • Pat dry with paper towels and place chops on a baking sheet or pan.
  • Sprinkle seasoning mix on chops.
  • Turn chops over and sprinkle seasoning mix on what was the bottom side of chops.
  • If chops are ½ inch or thinner, preheat oven to 300 deg.
  • If chops are ½ inch or thicker, preheat oven to 325 deg.
  • Cook chops for 15 minutes then turn them.
  • Cook chops for another 15 minutes.
  • If the internal temperature is between 150-160 deg., remove chops from the oven.
  • Cover pan with foil and let the chops stand for 5-10 minutes.
  • Enjoy

    I was looking all over for a good easy recipe for porkchops. I found this one and tried it. I had chops on the bone and bone free... These were a HIT! The cajun spice was perfect. I served them with rice and endives. Will use over and over again. Thank you! for spicing up my life!

    I give you a FIVE on this, donman. Again, it is obvious you were undercut, and I am sory to see this happening among such good cooks. Rest assured, you are not the only one being undercut, Sir . It should not be happening against anyone.

    I'm a vegetarian so I wasn't sure how to cook pork chops and make sure they would taste good for my boyfriend. He loved this recipe! The cooking time gave them perfect juiciness. I also put a sprinkle of adobo with the cajun seasoning and served them with mashed potatoes and sauteed spinach.

    Thank's they turned out great I served them with aspargus and broiled portabella mushrooms stuffed with fresh spinich and tomatoe relish with jalapeno peppers and feta cheese(they had a little bit of a bite to them) and bacon wrapped baked potatoe.
